Why it exists

Healthcare practices, law firms, public administration and HR teams across Europe want online appointment booking. Many of them would rather not send their booking data to a tool hosted in the US, or they have clients who ask where that data is kept.

Kalendarius is built for them: booking links, calendar sync with Google, Microsoft and Zoho, collective and round-robin team links, and email reminders, with the application and database hosted in Germany.

Where the data is hosted

The application and database run on Hetzner servers in Nuremberg and Falkenstein, Germany. Daily database backups are kept on the same infrastructure for 7 days.

Hetzner's data centres hold ISO/IEC 27001 certification. That certificate is Hetzner's; Kalendarius itself holds no certification.

Public booking pages load no advertising or analytics trackers. Sentry error monitoring runs there so we can find and fix bugs.

Sub-processors and other recipients

Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) hosts the application and database. Register S.p.A. (Register.it, Italy) sends our emails. Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) stores error reports from the browser and the API in its EU region in Germany for up to 90 days; Sentry is a US company, so access from outside the EU can't be ruled out. Paddle.com Market Ltd (United Kingdom) processes payments as merchant of record.

Google, Microsoft and Zoho receive data only when you connect their calendars or meeting tools, under their own terms. Google Ads and Meta load only on marketing pages after you accept marketing cookies, and never on booking pages. The full details are in our privacy policy.

Data processing agreement

When your organization takes bookings through Kalendarius, you are the controller and we process guest booking data on your behalf under Article 28 GDPR. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for the Business and Enterprise plans is in legal review; contact info@kalendarius.com.
